A Bit About Me

Welcome to Transitions Benefit Group! My name is Justin Dobson and people like to call me "The Medicare Marine". I am absolutely thrilled to assist you with your Medicare transition! With a focus on educating and providing a smooth shift from your Group Health Plan to Medicare, I bring dedication and care to every client interaction.

I'm a family man, happily married for 16 years (and counting), with two wonderful daughters, ages 9 and 11. When I'm not working, you'll find me tackling my wife's honey-do lists or cheering on my daughters at their sporting events! These ladies are my #1 Priority.

My background includes proud service as an Infantryman in the United States Marine Corps, Purple Heart Recipient, and over nine years as a Sergeant/Paramedic in the fire service. These experiences have instilled in me a deep sense of duty and commitment to serving my fellow Americans. Now, I channel that dedication into helping you navigate your retirement healthcare needs.

With me as your Dedicated Advisor, you can expect a blend of professionalism, patriotism, and a personable touch. Let's make your transition to Medicare seamless and stress-free.

Medicare Tip:
What you need to know

What you need to know about HSA's and Medicare.
Understanding the relationship between an HSA (Health Savings Account) and Medicare is essential for navigating healthcare options effectively. If you have an HSA and become eligible for Medicare, there are important considerations regarding contributions, withdrawals, and tax implications. While you can no longer contribute to your HSA once enrolled in Medicare, you can continue to use funds already saved for qualified medical expenses. I can help you understand how to manage your HSA alongside Medicare to maximize your healthcare savings and benefits.
