To understand the types of insurance you can purchase there are now two types that are similar, but different. We want to help you understand what options you have. These tow types of insurance are the ones that are available to you if you do not have Employer health benefits or qualify for Government insurance program such as Medicare, Medicaid, or Children's Health Insurance Program (chip).
The Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP) provides health coverage to eligible children, through both Medicaid and separate CHIP programs. CHIP is administered by states, according to federal requirements. The program is funded jointly by states and the federal government.
